Reflect on PNoy's SONA. Do you see any truth to his address? Which among the points he mentioned you think is worth noting?

If you were given a - two minute privileged talk, what would be your advice to President Noynoy / Aquino Government? If you could ask him one question, what would it be?

Yes, I can see truth from what he said. I think the part about the private sectors not paying their proper taxes is one of the points worth noting. How can we have a better country if private citizens will not pay their proper taxes? Its not only the obligation of the people working for government offices to pay the proper amount of taxes but also of every citizen of the Philippines (that includes private individuals).

My advice would be: Stick to the original plan - that is, to get the Philippines out from the hole of nowhere where it now belongs. Judge base on what is right and not on how the outside influenced you.

My question would be: You have said on your SONA that the we (the Philippines) would protect what is ours, emphasizing of course that we don't want to increase any tensions, but - what if other countries (like China, perhaps) becomes more aggressive, how far would the Philippines go in protecting its territory?

Yes, i think i'd rather believe that he's telling the truth. I can see that he had prepared substances and statistics to prove his accomplishments, and i think it would be hard if to manipulate numbers, or proclaim something not true before millions of Filipinos. And i think he'd better not lie, as he braved to use our language, in which more of us will be able to understand.

I think his SONA is more of a message than a report. I am particular to a part that, in some way, is directed to me.

'Tapusin na po natin ang kultura ng negatibismo; iangat natin ang kapwa-Pilipino sa bawat pagkakataon. Bakit po ang iba, ang hilig maghanap ng kung anu-anong pangit sa ating bayan? At napakahirap—parang kasalanan—na magsabi ng maganda? Naalala pa po ba natin noong huling beses tayong pumuri sa kapwa Pilipino?'

It cracked me up because i realized that i was one of those who are losing hope for our country. I found it hard to believe that our country could still keep up with all the other countries. I see all the flaws and ugly things about our country. But that was a long time ago before i heard the saying "sino pa ba ang magmamahal sa Pilipinas kundi ang mga Pilipino". I just hoped a lot of people had noted Pnoy's words and see some beauty and hope for our country.

If i could talk to him, i'd say that he must focus on stopping poverty, hunger, and crimes. And i think what i could advice him best is to focus on building a responsible, intelligent, and productive youth. I believe that the youth is the future, like what Dr. Jose Rizal had said. Then after the youth was made responsible, intelligent, and productive, i think everything else follows and we could focus on other things.

If i could ask him a question, i'd ask if he supports capitalism and would he give his part on hacienda luicita for farmers who were victims of capitalist abuse?

Yes,I'd believe that he is saying the truth, most of all in the things that he accomplished in one year of his governance. But he just focusing in the good things he had done, why didn't he mentioned his "pagkukulang" to the other people who need his support.Despite of that, I'm so proud of him because he is using our national language during his SONA, and that's right because we are Filipino so we have to use it.And its signed that he is proud to be a Filipino. That's a good sign of a leader.
I think the part that he mentioned that "we/filipinos" are his "BOSS" is worth nothing, because how did he said that we are his boss if he can't do what we want to become. Oh,in specific way, we are aiming to have a "pantay-pantay na pagtingin" from our leader. Just like what Jesus said in the Bible that in His eyes we are only one. We are only human that are His sheep so we are oblige to follow what He said to us although only people are leading us but He is one important factor in our life in order to survive in everyday living.
If I were given a -two minute privileged talk to our PNoy or in Aquino government, I would advice him to stick to what his own plan in our country and do not depend in other countries suggest. It will only brought us misunderstanding because there is an influenced from other country. Inspite,we all know then that are country is differ from them so we should have our own decision.
And if I could ask him one question it will be like this," As a leader of this country, and we all know that criminality is one of the factor that brought Philippines to be still in the third world country, what are you going to do to decrease the criminality rate here in our beloved country and can be benefits to the entire Filipinos?

Yes, but I can see it only as half truth. I am not that contented but I'm agree with him. Among the points he mentioned, I think the part about he is so obssess in removing those utak wang-wang in the Philippine government is worth noting. He is right. We all know that our country - the Philippines is well-known for its corruption. Now, it's the right time to remove those people. We must first remove the corrupt member of our own government before we go to settle other problems of our country.

I can't forget the line he said in his SONA.. "May mga nagsasabing pinepersonal ko raw ang paghahabol sa mga tiwali. Totoo po: Personal talaga sa akin ang paggawa ng tama, at ang pagpapanagot sa mga gumagawa ng mali—sino man sila. At hindi lamang dapat ako ang namemersonal sa usaping ito. Personal dapat ito sa ating lahat, dahil bawat Pilipino ay biktima nito."

I really like this part because I know that he's raising the right of every Filipinos. He's giving us the right to fight for corruption.

And if I were given a two minute priviledge talk with him, I would advice him to shorten his address but with a complete message for the people of the country. And I would tell him to focus more in education and in the poverty. As he opens his eyes, still there are so many children who can't afford to go to school because of poverty. And still, many of us is living in slum areas where illness and diseases easily circulate.

I would like to ask if how would he settle the problems in slum areas,Would he give them house too like what he did to the members of the police and military group?

With the speech delivered by President PNoy, I have notice the innovation of the so-called
WANGWANG MENTALITY SYSTEM
(does not just pertain to the annoying sound of siren along the road but also to the subjugation of the government officials) which is indisputable in the government nowadays. Yes! I agree on him for the reason that I became personally sensible on the revelation on the anomalous made by the diminishing population of the voracious leaders. I just hope that it is not the ending yet the beginning on the battle in taking "tuwid na daan".

If I had given a two minute privilege talk to President Noynoy/Aquino Government, I would advice him not to just focus on a certain dilemma specifically Corruption and please do not be so dependent with other countries admit it or not. I, you and Everyone knows that Philippines have the guts to stands alone so please prove it. I believe that obstacles arising for achieving a progressive nation are just the end product of the senseless life which uprooted from POOR EDUCATION. Producing more productive educators and facilities can do something to upgrade its quality since every Filipino have the right to acquire an excellent class of education. Remember "EDUKASYON ANG TANGING KAYAMANAN NA HINDI MANANAKAW NINUMAN".

My question for him would flow this way "How could Juan dela Cruz assure that after 17 years of his study(pertaining to the new curriculum of DepEd), there is job opportunity worthy for him?"

Yes, I can see truth from what he said in his SONA 2011. Among the points, I think about the " end the wang-wang culture in government" is worth noting. I believe that it will serve as a key for a better future.

These lines will bring hope for our countrymen, the Filipinos.

If I could talk to PNoy, I would like to advice him that he must focus on EDUCATION, especially for those who can't afford to have a higher education, the poor Filipino youth. Like what Dr. Jose Rizal said, "Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan".

If I were given a privilege to ask one question, my question would be, "What are your clear steps to assure that after your term our country, the Philippines, will be a progressive country?".

“Wang-wang” again?...

Yes, having heard PNOY’s SONA,I think that there are truths in his address. Aside from the banning of sirens(wang-wangs) last year, still, there are many wang-wangs existing in the Philippines which symbolically represent corruption, greediness and selfishness. It is also true that the crab mentality we inherited from the Spaniards during their colonization is still dominant because personally, I’m a critic on the negative sides of the administration rather than seeing the positive sides.

The worth noting points he mentioned are the project for Luzon Power Plant and the One Million Peso coffee budget of PAGCOR. The Luzon Power Plant is beneficial not only to transport groups but to all Filipinos. Aside from it, importing of oil will be lessen. The said one million peso coffee budget of PAGCOR is annoying because Juan dela Cruz is his paying his tax for his benefits not to give luxuries to government officials to spend it to an over-priced coffee.

If I were given a two-minute privileged talk to PNOY, I will say:
Don’t just focus on seeking for the anomalies of the previous administration. It’s right to expose the anomalies of the previous administrations but don’t give much time on it because as you have said a year ago, WE ARE YOUR BOSS and you should give your time to us and hear our demands or needs and give immediate action. “Tuwid na daan” does not follow the rough roads. Therefore, focus on programs that will help the poor like increasing the wages while maintaining low prices of goods in the market.

And my question for PNOY is: Having mentioned “good health programs for the poor”, and as a smoker, do you think you can stop the Filipinos from smoking and make the Philippines a cigarette-free country?

Yes, I can see the truth in his SONA I agree with him when he said that 'Spratly Islands are ours'and he will defend the territory and sovereignty.
also i vowed him when he say that we need to stop the culture negativism and the "crab mentality" because even if our country was fully developed and has a great economy, "crab mentality" will destroy it.

But if everyone has that mentality there's no such way we could enrich our beloved country.
but if we have fairness and contentment in our selves I can happily say that we can live a better life and a peaceful country.

If i were given a chance to have a two minute talk with President Aquino:
My advice would be
appoint or get a man that is perfect and right for the given
position, i would suggest that he should carefully appoint a person in any position, he will see to it, if that person is qualified to the said position.
Don't appoint a person because
he/she is a family friend.
or recommended by a person who has in a higher position.

My question would be:
Why did you said that RH Bill will going to help our problem in Poverty? are you really sure that RH bill will provide the solution to the problem of our country?? why not order the whole fellow Filipino citizens to have "One/Two Child Policy"?

I was impressed by the accomplishments of PNoy. I can see truth from what he said.

The fact is, there is always an anti in every administration. We can't change that. We should not take advantage of the weakness in our system. Instead of cheating and criticizing the wrong doings of our president, why don't we just help him by doing our own responsibilities as a citizen of this country? Because in the end, we are still the ones who will suffer or benefit from what we have done.

If I were given a two minute privileged talk with him, I'll ask him about his future plans. I'll also thank him for all the things he has done for our country. I'll encourage him to continue doing great things for our country and that we Filipinos, his Bosses, are always here to support him.

My question for our president, "One year has already passed under your administration, can you say that you already have made a change?"

* Ako'y nagagalak sa SONA ng ating pangulo. Dito ay naramdaman ko ang kanyang pagpupursigi na itayo muli ang bansang Pilipinas mula sa pagkakalugmok mula sa nakaraang administrasyon. Bagamat may ilang mabubuti rin na nagawa ang nakaraang administrasyon, hindi natin maitatanggi ang mga mali nito na dumagdag sa paghihirap ng maraming Pilipino. Sa unang taon na namalagi si Noynoy bilang ating pangulo, hindi maikakaila na marami na tin syang nagawa. Isa na rito ang tungkol sa wangwang. Ito ay naglalayong maging pantay-pantay tayo pagdating sa patakarang pangkalsada.Hindi tayo dapat nanghuhusga, tingnan muna natin ang kanyang mga nagawa. Sa loob lamang ng isang taon, marami rami na rin ang nabago. Huwag sana nating mamasamain ang pagpapataw ng buwis sa ating mga binibili, para rin naman sa atin ito. Alam niyo ba na nakalaki ng naiwang utang natin sa ibang bansa buhat pa sa nakaraang administrasyon kaya dapat sana'y naiintindihan muna natin ang hirap na nararanasan ni PNoy upang masolusyunan ang problemang ito. Kung hindi natin mababayaran ang utang ng ating bansa, paano tayo makakapagsimula nang produktibo ? Pasasaan pa't mababawasan din ang ating pagtitiis. Pabor din ako sa sinabi ni PNoy na nararapat lamang na alisin nating mga Pilipino ang pagkakaroon ng crab mentality. Hindi naman nakakatulong ito sa ating bansa. Kung tayo'y magtutulungan, mas mapapadali ang pag-unlad. Isa pa, tama si PNoy na atin ang Spratlys. Hindi na dapat ito pinagtatalunan pa, siguro'y dala lamang ito ng gahamang pag-iisip ng mga dayuhan. Tama lamang na palakasin ang puwersa ng militar ukol dito, pero kung madadala naman sa magandang usapan ay hindi na kailangan ng dahas. Huwag din sana kalimutan ni PNoy ang pagpapalawig sa antas ng edukasyon. Umaasa na kami na siya ang magiging simula ng pag-unlad ng edukasyon sa Pilipinas. Kung maaari sana ay dagdagan niya ang budget sa edukasyon lalo na sa mga probinsya. Magkaroon sana ng malakas na komunikasyon ang pamahalaan sa mga probinsya na nangangailangan ng suporta ng pamahalaan.

* yun lamang po :)

I was amazed of PNOY's SONA. He is not afraid of bringing up to his boss the truth about the corruption in every department that he handles, specially on the DPWH. Even those in private sectors who are not paying their taxes properly was also brought up to his boss. It is true that our country was still influenced by those system that as used before but he is now investigating every department one by one to stop that old system.

I think that he should investigate more on other departments like in DEPED and CHED. Education here in Philippines is not anymore for everyone or rather to say many filipinos can not afford to bring their child in a better schools or universities.

He also mentioned his stand about the issue in spratly's islands. He said that our country would not let other country claimed our territory, but for me the question is how?

However, whatever PNOY's plan for our country, we shall all support him in order to achieve our goal.

Leaders cannot succeed all alone by themselves, but also with the help of everyone.
