Answer:
1.Sculpture is the act and art of making three-dimensional works of art such as statues. A statue is an image such as a person or animal that is sculpted in a solid substance. The Statue of Liberty and Rodin's The Thinker are two well-known statues.

Sculptures may be carved, chiseled, modeled, cast, or constructed. They can be made of many different materials such as wood, stone, clay, metal, sand, ice, and even balloons. A person who creates sculpture is called an sculptor.

2.Well as for me,the main entrance and exit are connected to each other.Pylon is located at the main entrance. It symbolizes truth, wisdom and excellence for which the school will teach and gives us while we were in the school. In main exit, you can see the mural which serves all the skills imparted by the school to all their students.

3. From my own point of view, If I we're to see two objects in a store or in some place, I'd rather be fascinated on those objects/displays that move than on those stagnant ones. Movement adds up on the totality of one object, thus, clarifies symbolism as well as fully expresses the message that it wants to say.

4.Sculptures for me are indeed functional. For it shows someone's feelings, own skills, ideas, and greatness of a person. Though a non-living thing, it deeply expresses an important thing. Also, sculptures are made to commemorate our heroes. To show gratitude to their heroic deeds.

3.Maybe because, when you see that sample sculpture, your eyes make's it illution.
4.I think Yes, because it is the way of sculpture to express their feelings to the people who see their work of art displayed.

2. It stands for the bravity of our heroes as well as the students of the university. To stands for their right and to fight for their needs. And it is one of the "akribista's home" not to think negative, coz for me.. they really help us (students) alot when terms of tuiton fee increases.

3. Its about having a broader knowledge about their skills. And to discover a new artistic side of sculture.

4. Yes,it is. Like music it suits our soul and have pleasure of relaxing.. but in sculpture, you'll feel the pleasure when its done. And its such a great feeling when its done. YOur master piece!

1. SCULPTURE is the art of making a three-dimensional object, which for the purposes of this object is man-made and selected for special recognition as art.
All sculpture is made of a material substance that has a mass and exists in three-dimensional, an artistic form in which hard or plastic materials are worked into three-dimentional objects. The designs maybe embodied in freestanding objects, in relief’s on surfaces and many more.
An enormous variety of media may be used, including clay, wax, stone, metal, fabric, glass, wood, plaster, and rubber.

2. For me, the pylon located at the main entrance really means a lot. Aside from the reasons that it symbolizes truth, wisdom and excellence, it also stands as a hope and a symbol of dignity both for the students and professors of the PUP. It tells us how dedicated students are in terms of their studies and how strong they are to fight for their rights not just as scholar students but most especially as an individual.

3. There must be many reasons why sculptor makes sculpture that moves. Well for me one of those reasons is that; first, they want people to be entertained by their art works. Second, they want to express more of their feelings in such way that they can also contribute in the field of art. They can evenly express their thoughts, feelings and emotions by adding up movements in their works. I think, in this way they can fully express the meanings that they wanted to give to the people.

4. Are sculptures really functional? Well, yes they are! It can tell us many things, many meanings, and ideas from different people. It is a way on expressing themselves freely from judgments. It also serves as an important contribution in terms of the heroic deeds, and also it can tell us the legend of one nation. It is functional in way that sculptors can attain fulfillment in every masterpiece that they have done. And there’s nothing more beautiful than to feel satisfaction inside your individuality, and to know that you made somebody happy too.

moves doesn't mean his creation will literally moves. As one of the
sculpture's meanings it has been a mean of human expression sculpture to express what he wants to convey to other people.Upon seeing the sculptor's work,it can reminds a person of the people, place or event he shouldn't forget and it can set a fire in the persons heart to act for a particular work.

Answwer:

1. Sculpture originates from the Latin word SCULPERE which means "to curve". It is defined as the art of creating three-dimensional forms. It can be a free standing or in the round that can be able to viewed from all sides or angles. The sculptures amy be carved, chiseled, modeled, cast or constructed. Different materials are used to create sculpture such as wood, stone, clay, metal, sand, ice, and even ballons. And a person who creates sculpture is called an sculptor.

2. The relief found in the main entrance symbolizes truth, wisdom and excellence. But for me it represents how the pupians became strong in the struggles they face in their lives and they can stand by their own.

3. A sculptor would make a sculpture that moves maybe because s/he wants us to imagine the real image of what he figure out. And maybe because s/he wants to entertain us and to be informed how her/his work can affect us.

4. Yes, sculptures are functionals because it represents the different cultures of the different countries which has been important part of their lives, for example the Seven Wonders of the World.

1. In the widest sense of the term, sculpture is the art of representing in bodily form men, animals, and other objects in stone, bronze, ivory, clay and similar materials, whether the objects represented actually exist in nature or are the creation of the imagination of the artist. A more concise and exact definition of sculpture is the art which represents beauty in bodily form by means of figures entirely or partly in the round.

2. As of what I have researched, many people in the PUP community says that the three pillars of the pylon stands for truth, wisdom and excellence.

3. A sculptor would make a sculpture that moves to make sculture more interseting nd eye catching. It also to emphasize the true meaning of the sculpture made.
